hear it in the stairwell:Damien Rice
Last night the Matts(Johnson, Nelms and Levi), Neilo and I packed into a minivan Matt just happened to be driving and made the trip up to Sindey, Ohio to visit two of our small group girls who make the commute down to Dayton every Monday just for us! (sorry, long sentence) I love Lynn and Sharon, the two Sidney-ers. I tell you all of this to announce that I now know how to play "Four on the couch". Yes, a very new and exciting game in the same genre as Mafia and GreenGlassDoor where the girls rival the guys in a memory game with the goal to get four people of your sex on the couch at once. If you see me sometime soon I'm sure I'll be bugging you to play it. Until then, occupy yourself with this tasty treat...Jareck on our camping trip to Michigan in August.
Way back in August Stephen was raving about this awesome new musician he had discovered, Damien Rice. I tried him out and was pretty indifferent. I told Stephen I hated the music just to get a good reaction and I share Damien Rice with Allan and Bryan because I thought they would like it. I'd forgotten about it until I was looking through Bryan's CD's the other day and noticed that he had bought the CD to replace my burnt copy. And because I trust Bryan's taste in music so much (you can't deny a fellow Guster lover), I gave Damien Rice a second try today. Maybe it was just the confusing and crazy time in my life that caused me to be so indifferent about his music on the first try because this time I'm hooked! I recommend trying him out! Although he is super mellow for my taste, I would suggest putting him in your 3 disc CD player on shuffle along with some Vroom and some Coldplay or OTR. Excellent.
I love my new house and my new roommates, too-random visits are always welcomed! Everything with the move went so smoothly until last night...
I was gone all evening (see above) so Amanda looked after Levi for me. When I got home she told me that he had peed on the carpet 3 or 4 times! This is unusual because at The Hotel he was completely house trained! He hadn't had an accident in months! So I'm trying to run through all the factors that might be playing a part in this problem: the fact that this house is carpeted and my old was wood floors, maybe Levi is just so excited to be in a new place, because water is available all the time, or my dog is just a complete idiot. Any and all could play a part in this...but I want some advice on what to do! This CAN'T go on! So if you want to see this ridiculously cute face ever again....
write and give me some pointers!
