This won't be a very interesting or eventful blog...just a quick update. I'm officially all moved in! I spent about 15 hours yesterday moving, unpacking and rearranging- I am exhausted. I finished up my Christmas shopping today and even wrapped all the gifts.
Last night after I was finished setting up my new room I decided to do some laundry (yea! in-house laundry facilities!!). So I ran out to get some detergent and fabric softener. I'm exhausted, freezing and zoning to some really loud coldplay driving down 35 when I am jolted by this incredible BOOM as my car hits and runs over something huge. A brick? An old muffler? A human body? I'm not sure I'll ever find out what it was that my car destroyed but a few more miles down the road I see something flapping in the wind outside of my passengerside window. So I pull over, step out into the cold and check it out. The wheel well cover was staying attached by one end and the rest was sticking out, making my jeep look like it has a single ghetto wing. I pushed it back into place and that seemed to work until I was on my way back home and the ghetto wing returned. I make it home and have Phil take a look. He did what any computer-genius guy would do....he told me to tape it. And so I did. I'm driving around with duck tape on my car. Yeah, I'm that girl.
