looking foreword

hear it in the stairwell: Coldplay Live/Five for Fighting/Counting Crows
Some faithful readers have voiced some concerns about the random nature of my recent blogging. So I'll add a quick update-blog to add to the frequency of my blogging...
I DID finally get a job and my month and a half long work sabbatical will come to an end this Monday! I'll be working at Bethany Village in the dementia unit--3rd shift! I've done a fairly good job, whether intentionally or not, of training myself to stay up to crazy early morning hours then catch some decent sleep in the afternoon/early evening. I don't think the schedule will be a problem. And I'm so excited to be working again, not only to enjoy a steady paycheck again, but hopefully I'll feel like a more productive person that's contributing to society.
School is school. I go to some classes, write some papers and get to do some pretty wickedawesome dissections in lab. This morning we cut up a live rat to check out this inner workings of the heart!
My wonderful dog is as cute and smelly as ever. Levi's "done growing" but the pounds are still adding up. The dog has more extra skin than Phil's grandma--rolls and rolls of it that he'll let you pull on and stretch to make him look fatter than ever. We haven't had many fun Levi excursion lately but as soon as I have new cute pictures to add I will.
The roomies are good as well. Amanda had a birthday today so Kristi and I ghetto decorated the house and made a Martha Stewart-admirable chocolate cake. Kristi is getting ready to take a trip to Oregon and Amanda is planning out her summer Africa/Missions sabbatical. Aspen talks more than Oprah.
My foot is sufficiently healed and I began the official April Tennessee Marathon training this week. Hopefully I can stay up with Eric's recommended training without reinjuring the foot. More than anything I'm just excited to have another roadtrip to look foreword to, even if a few of the hours will be spent in running torture.
The sign on bonus for my new job will cover most of the expenses for the Ireland trip I was praying about taking with Mattlevi! Praise God for opportunities and provisions!
Bryan is leaving in two days for Connecticut! Yeah, he'll be GONE! SO call me and drag me out of the house so I won't be so depressed! At least I have the official road journal he made as my "Staying in Ohio" present to console me.
Ok, the horrifically-boring-updates end here...But since you sat through them so patiently and faked interest, I'll leave you with some fun picutures. Oh, Christine, as soon as I find my disc with the sledding pictures I'll post a pictures of Seth:)

branch last Dayton adventure...The Air Force museum. Glorious airplane heaven.

Yea! More fun climbing pictures. Ghetto climber extrordinaire working on his 5.11!
