Happy Valentine's Day=running, studying, research paper, babysitting, and maybe Phil's... all to the 3 CD mix of Radiohead OK Computer, Guster Goldfly, and Ben Folds.

I never cease to be amazed at how music carries so many emotional ties and memories for me. I hear a song that reminds me of a particular time in my life and I'm instantly there again, feeling the same things I felt at that time. So nostalgic.

Living in the Hotel mid-August with every window in the apartment wide open. No airconditioning but a constant cool breeze. Being able to listen to music as loud as I want because I had no neighbors at the time. Patio doors open overlooking the broken-but-still-awesome courtyard fountain. Running the Art Institute steps around sunset and seeing the city buildings turn orange with the sun. Wood floors and no shoes...ever. Slanted doorways and no t.v..
